Our shared commitment.
To safeguard a respectful, educational environment, all respondents, staff, and volunteers review and sign Lenaea’s Code of Conduct. Participants similarly sign a Participant Code of Conduct and Liability and Media waiver.

Harassment-free, inclusive and respectful.
Lenaea is committed to an environment free of harassment and discrimination. We respect each student’s voice and identity, including observing appropriate pronouns. Respondents are trained to recognize and reduce implicit bias, use accessible language, and align feedback with the rubric. We expect that all staff, respondents and volunteers will use professional, age-appropriate language, follow session structures and timekeeping so every student receives equitable attention.

Professional boundaries.
Adults interacting with students must maintain appropriate boundaries at all times—no one-on-one closed-door meetings; no personal gifts or non-festival communications; no inappropriate comments or physical contact.

Reporting & non-retaliation.
To raise a concern or report unacceptable behavior, contact Board President, Alicia Jeffrey (alicia@lenaea.org) or any listed board/staff contact. Reports are reviewed promptly; retaliation is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in removal from festival activities and further action per our policy.
